Wild Roots is a conceptual small business whose mission is to reconnect people to their local ecosystems through providing locally-grown native plants and bioregional education. Their brand had to be approachable, playful, and a bit sophisticated to meet their goal of positioning as a credible community educator and unique shop that gets people inspired by the beauty of plants. Their target audience was any curious local and especially younger folks (like millennials and gen-z), as they know that inspiring change within the younger population is important for the longevity of restoration work. The colors, typefaces, and imagery were chosen with this in mind.
This was a quick two-day sprint and is a great example of work done for small, offering-based businesses. Think: service or offering based local business, farmer’s market stand owner, healer, etc. with a smaller budget and shorter time-frame.
